Among others, "Fossil # 1" and "Findstück" are titles of Sabine Groß's new works, which lead the viewer straight to the wrong track. We see fossils of broken, canvas-covered stretcher frames that look strangely artificial, or a charred set piece of aging painting that makes a perfect trompe l'oeil.
